Surf & Turf in Palmdale, CA

Some of us like a little variety sometimes, and Southern California is a great place to visit and eat out; there are thousands of restaurants, with different ethnic themes, and many an exotic, or cultural atmospheres that adds to both curiosity and appetite. However, sometimes, there’s nothing better than a salad, a potato, and a perfectly cooked steak. Or some delicious seafood; so for those of you who are a little wary of sampling another exotic restaurant, here are a few classic surf and turf spots in the Palmdale area. If you’re touring the So-Cal area, and have already fallen in love with Palmdale hotels, then it’s time you fell in love with the dining too!

Don Juan Mexican Seafood – What could possibly be better than a great Mexican restaurant? Or better than great seafood spot? Both in one location! Don Juan Mexican Seafood, located at 38350 30th St E has a big menu full of both Mexican favorites, and great selection of Mexican seafood classics. Plus, they offer a full bar, and they accept reservations! This spot is perfect for both large groups, as well as couples looking for a little casual dining. Many reviews claim it’s also great for families with kids.

Tokyo Steak – Tokyo Steak has a general four star rating; you get dinner and a show in the evening, when your dishes are prepared right before your eyes! Located at 2106 E Palmdale Blvd, it comes as one of the most highly recommended restaurants in the area. However, most patrons seem to agree that the steak is the main reason to come to the place, since the sushi bar has been on a steady decline over the past two years. The sushi bar is 20% during the lunch period, though, so if you feel like proving the reviews wrong, feel free to give it a try.

Great Steak & Potato Company – There’s certainly no way to confuse the main offering of this great spot for steak! With just under a dozen locations in Southern California, it’s a rather popular place to get great potatoes, and delicious steak. The menu of course offers a variety of classic surf and turf selections, but don’t be surprised if the majority of fellow diners are more interested in steak than seafood. It’s in the name, after all! You can find the Great Steak & Potato Company at the Antelope Valley Mall, 1233 W. Avenue P Space 827.

Alice’s Burgers – If you’re tired of the same old ‘McBreakfast’ or ‘McLunch’ every other day, try a real burger, or the all day breakfast served at Alice’s Burgers. Not only does this spot remind us all a bit of Arlo Guthrie’s ‘Alice’s Restaurant’, but it actually is. The menu is pretty big, and you can have breakfast any time of the day. Located at 801 W Palmdale Blvd, in Palmdale, it’s also know for being cheap, –so you can count on getting plenty of bang, –and burger, –for your buck!
